Windows 7 has sold more than 90 million copies
The laptop used to compose this post is running one of the 90 million copies sold since Windows 7 Microsoft has released its latest operating system last fall. In an entry posted on the blog of the Windows team, Brandon LeBlanc said Microsoft has sold 90 million licenses of Windows 7. It'sa license for nearly one third of the current U.S. population.
The announcement came courtesy of Microsoft CFO Peter Klein.Although Klein has been attending the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, has published sales figures and shows with pride a little PC operating software. As LeBlanc has described:
Windows 7 has received very strong reviews from the tech community and is clearly made a better start than Microsoft Vista, which presented several complained of major bugs, flaws and incompatibility issues with software and peripherals. Considering that 7 has proven to be a much better successor to XP, you'll probably see more companies and regular consumers who want to improve and push the sales of Windows 7 total even higher.
