Asus Eee PC 1018P, 1016P, 1015PE, 1015P and 1001PQ

The network construction quality feels good, and with the battery flush, they are seriously thin and lightweight. We wish ASUS had equipped systems with keyboards in metal to match the touchpads expanded aluminum, but many felt sturdy plastic keys under our fingers. As for specifications, the posters say they have the new Intel N470 (and N455 and N475 a few specific choices CPU), 2 GB of RAM and 10 hours of battery life. We always try to understand the difference between the two models, but our proposal is that the 1016P has 3G, while the 1018P sticks just WiFi.

The false 1016PE cover dark wood has a more professional look, and its shape reminds us somewhat of the HP Mini 5102. On the other hand, the 1015P has a white, softer-looking lid mat and a touchpad updated with mouse buttons integrated. Inside it looks like they will be available with Pine Trail Intel Atom processor N450 and N470, and apparently the next N455 and N475 CPU.
